The Arbor Timeless Bamboo longboard is a pintail with an oversized wheel base for greater stability, transforming this longboard into a slope carving machine with native style. The arbor timeless gives riders an open stance ride with a wide concave platform. This longboard is an ideal choice for a newer rider learning to carve and do some light hill bombing. The Arbor Timeless Bamboo construction is a blend of Canadian Maple and bamboo, the world's most sustainable building material. Arbor has included bamboo in longboard construction for many years now. Bamboo completely regenerates itself in 4 weeks which makes it one of the most eco friendly and sustainable products on the planet. Bamboo is incredibly strong, yet flexible and easy to shape. The addition of bamboo as a deck side power-ply, Arbor has created a hybrid maple construction that has a clean Zen flavor with nice return and long lasting durability. The Axis top sheet is bamboo covered in a recycled glass clear grip tape that lets the beauty of the bamboo grain shine through.
Artist Spotlight:
Born in Sydney, Nanami Cowdroy's artistic roots reflect both her native Australian and mixed Japanese-European
heritage. Nanami's blend of complex characters and highly detailed objects create a juxtaposition of the foreign and familiar. Her subjects are organic, yet exude a strength and depth; the perfect combination for Arbor longboarding's bamboo designs.
One thing to consider on Arbor's pintails: be careful adding wheels over 72mm's. You may experience some wheel bite. You can combat this issue with bigger risers or angles risers.
The Timeless is a truly classic pintail. For cruising and carving, you just can't go wrong here. A pintail is a must have for your longboard quiver. It's the shape that started it all and will always be around. The Timeless is an all around shape great for beginners and is a good introduction to the sport. Just because it's good for beginners doesn't mean it's not a high quality board for all. It's suited to the first types of longboarding you will encounter, cruising and carving.
