 Arbor Genesis Longboard
The Arbor Genesis 36" longboard is brand new for the 2012 lineup. Featuring all the performance and characteristics of it's big brother, the 36" version is smaller, lighter, low to the ground and more maneuverable, making this a killer commuter longboard. The Genesis 36" also takes the bottom graphic a notch higer, featuring custom art from Brian Morris.
Turn this deck into a complete with our Basic or Premium component packages. Don't let the term "basic" scare you, this package is a great option for all types of riders. Maybe you're a beginner or adding a second or third board to your lineup and you need to keep the price down. The basic package is durable and performs very well, it's just not quite on the level of quality and performance that the premium package offers.
The Genesis competes with any other Freeride longboard out there. The Arbor Genesis features a cambered, symmetrical, fiberglass reinforced super deck. The board construction will amaze when carving. It feels like the board anticipates the turn to provide and initiate power in and out of turns. The drop through is built and designed to deliver optimal slide and carving performance while maintaining an ultra smooth ride. You should expect stability, control and return in a lightweight longboard deck package.
As we've said before, the koa top is Inertia Board Shops favorite top sheet. The Genesis just takes it to another level. The koa top sheet and 4 plies of Maple are sandwhiched between 2 layers of fiberglass. The Genesis sports a classic Arbor gold script on a black background which looks ultra classy coupled with the koa veneer top. This board is very impressive to look at and ride.
